HIM 360 - Management Health Information Center

3-4 credits
Includes application and evaluation of department policies and procedures for health information management services, incorporating applicable legal, ethical and institutional requirements, identification of departmental and organizational readiness for accreditation and licensing process, evaluation of ongoing training programs for employees and promotion of an understanding of HIM’s role in the organization’s strategic planning. Prerequisite(s): HIM 257
