CIS 462 - UNIX/Linux Administration

3 credits
This course prepares students to perform basic administration, networking, and security-oriented tasks on UNIX/Linux-based servers. This course has a significant hands-on component that utilizes both the command line and graphical user interface (GUI) environments. Topics include the vi editor, shell scripting, process management, file system management, network configuration, user account management, and troubleshooting. Prerequisite(s): CIS 328   and CIS 383
