MATH 201 - Introduction to Discrete Mathematics

3 credits
An introduction and overview of discrete mathematics. Topics will include elementary logic, direct and indirect proof, induction, and set theory.  Other topics to be selected from modular arithmetic, recursion, graph theory, number theory, and computer applications. Prerequisite(s): MATH 104  or MATH 114  or MATH 115  or MATH 120  or MATH 123  or MATH 281  or HS GPA of 3.55 or higher or Math ACT 25 or higher
