MATH 101 - Intermediate Algebra3 credits Basic properties of real numbers, linear equations and inequalities, quadratic equations, systems of equations, polynomials and factoring, rational expressions and equations, and radical expressions and equations, and an introduction to functions such as polynomial, exponential and logarithmic functions. Credit for MATH 101 will not be granted to anyone who has previously received credit for MATH 102 or MATH 115 . A grade of S or a grade of C or better will be required for progression into MATH 102 . Prerequisite(s): Course enrollment is determined by Board of Regent placement policy
