Graduates with a Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence will have a strong background in existing and emerging technical fields involving artificial intelligence. New jobs include Machine Learning Engineer, Data Analyst, Data Scientist, AI/ML Researcher and Software Engineer. These jobs provide different roles to help firms make scientific or data-driven decisions or automate tasks to reduce costs or scale products, create physical automated bots for a myriad of purposes, or provide research into new applications.
Each graduate has an understanding of a wide array of different AI algorithms along with the ability to analyze them and determine how to properly apply them to different problems and fields. Students will also gain a firm grasp of the underlying mathematics and statistics needed to comprehend current methods and develop new ones. Students will also gain strong skills in programming, software development, and data science.

System-Wide General Education Requirement (30 Credits)
Majors must take PSYC 101 , SOC 285 and PHIL 200 as part of the System-wide General Education Requirements. Majors who test directly into MATH 123 or MATH 201 will not need to complete MATH 114 but must take 3 credits of general electives. Required Courses (48 Credits)
Support Courses (16 Credits)
Minor (18 Credits)
Students may choose any minor that is not AI or Machine Learning focused. |
