ARTD 388 - Environmental Design

3 credits
This course introduces students to the principles of 3D environment design. Theatrical sets, architectural simulations, and level design will be explored. This course centers on the physical building of virtual worlds and the aesthetic needs associated with these worlds. Students create a variety of level types, including indoor and outdoor world levels. The course will emphasize critical thinking skills and strategies for good environmental design. Prerequisite(s): ARTD 186  and  .  Concurrent enrollment in ARTD 385 is permitted.
