CIS 368 - Predictive Analytics

3 credits
This course introduces the foundational concepts and practical applications of predictive analytics for data-driven decision making across diverse domains. Students will learn to apply predictive modeling techniques such as regression, decision trees, k-nearest neighbors, neural networks, support vector machines, clustering, and association rule mining. Emphasis is placed on interpreting model outputs, evaluating model performance, and translating analytical results into actionable business or organizational insights. Prerequisite(s):  CSC 150  or CIS 123
