PE 776 - Cultural Studies of Sport

3 credits
The purpose of this course is for students to examine the intersection of sport and cultural issues in the United States.  The course investigates the ways in which institutionalized sport both conflicts with and complements the integration of multi-cultural understanding and development that could include (dis)ability, race, ethnicity, class, gender, and sexuality.
