The Individualized Studies major gives students an opportunity to design a path of study that fits their individual academic and occupational goals.

Requirements
The major required a minimum of 42 credit hours, with at least 21 credit hours at the 300-400 levels, and no more than 24 credit hours within the same discipline. A minimum of 30 credits must be earned through DSU, and 50% of the major must be completed through DSU.
Students desiring to pursue this major should contact the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. The Dean, in consultation with relevant faculty experts from across the university, will help the student design a program of study that fulfills the requirements of this degree and their individual educational and occupational goals.
