CSC 803 - An Introduction to Research

3 credits
An introduction to computer and cyber security research where students will gain knowledge in identifying research sources, gathering applicable research materials, and how to better categorize and analyze the current state of research.  Students will gain knowledge in transitioning from gathered research artifacts to authorizing sections of research papers applicable for submission to journals and conferences.  Special attention will be paid to citation standards, anti-plagiarism and scientific writing styles.
